Lenny Kravitz Gets Star On The Walk Of Fame & They Declared “Lenny Kravitz Day” in Hollywood + NEW ALBUM
Music legend Lenny Kravitz received his long-awaited star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 12, 2024 , further cementing his place in the pantheon of entertainment giants for his contributions to the music world .
On March 12th, Lenny Kravitz was honored with the 2,774th star at 1750 N. Vine Street in Hollywood, right in front of the historic Capitol Records Tower. The highlight of the event was a speech given by his daughter Zoë Kravitz, who not only celebrated her father’s achievements but also playfully teased him about his past fashion choices, including his famous see-through shirts! She was accompanied by her boyfriend, actor Channing Tatum. It was a fun moment, and a well-deserved honor for a talented musician like Lenny, which added a touch of humor to the occasion.

Longtime friend Denzel Washington was also in attendance, praising Lenny’s talent and congratulating him on this well-deserved honor. He also had some amusing words to share about his close friend during the induction ceremony. He joked about Lenny’s thumb ring causing him injury, but more importantly, he emphasized the depth of their friendship, describing it as more than just a brotherhood. Denzel even went as far as saying, “We’re twins, we just don’t look alike,” showcasing their unbreakable bond. It seems like their connection goes way beyond the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
Lenny was humbled and grateful at the ceremony. In his acceptance speech, he thanked his fans, family, and friends for their support throughout his career. He also acknowledged the challenges he’s faced and overcome, saying, “We’ve been through a lot. We’ve seen a lot. I’ve seen a lot.” It was a poignant moment that showed how much this honor meant to him.

Following his induction, Lenny made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to premiere his new single, “Human,” an inspirational song about finding confidence in yourself.

While promoting the album he also discussed the importance of Black music history, Black joy, and the power of love, positivity, and fun in his music.
