Boston Celtic Punk Rock Legends Dropkick Murphys, are streaming their St. Patrick’s Day Hometown Celebration tonight for free from the House of Blues Boston. The band was as forced to cancel due to the Coronavirus concerns, But, THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
“For the first time in 24 years, we are not playing on St. Patrick’s Day weekend,” Dropkick Murphys said. “The current world situation is the only thing that would ever stop us from doing so. So we came up with an idea we’re going to pull off this Tuesday. We’re excited to entertain you on St. Patrick’s Day – live from Boston, Spread the word! The show must go on!”- This was the statement from the band on their social media accounts.
As cities continue to cancel events and people around the world are being asked to self-quarantine and not to gather in large crowds because of the severity of the COVID-19 Virus, Dropkick Murphys have prevailed! The band found a way to bring you good cheer this St. Patrick’s Day and are ready to bring the show to you.
