If you missed the Half-Time show during the 52nd presentation of the Super Bowl…check it out here!

Justin Timberlake lit up Minneapolis in purple playing tribute to Minnesota native Prince with his amazing performance at the 52nd Super Bowl. Although The New England Patriots and their fans would suffer a devastating defeat in the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles, it was still a memorable night of music.

This past Sunday’s presentation of the 52nd Superbowl was a nail-biter for both teams. The best two teams in the NFL, Boston’s own New England Patriots faced the Philadelphia Eagles. The game was close until the very end, and unfortunately for New England, the win fell into the hands of Philadelphia Eagles- defeating the Patriots 41-33.

Regardless of the loss, it was a very memorable performance during the halftime show by Justin Timberlake. Timberlake played a special tribute to one of his idols and Minnesota’s own, Prince. The singer who just dropped his new album – Man Of The Woods, released on February 2nd, played a handful of his favorite songs including SexyBack, Rock Your Body,  Mirrors, Filthy and Can’t Stop the Feeling.

When Timberlake played tribute to Prince, the entire Minneapolis stadium lit up purple as a white curtain came down to reflect a performance by Prince of I would Die 4 U, singing together, with his longtime drummer Sheila E. playing in the background. It was enough to give anyone goosebumps and was certainly a performance that people would be talking about for years to come.
