Dead Cross invades Boston this Monday night…Don’t miss it!

Dead Cross – New American supergroup from California, featuring drummer Dave Lombardo (Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits, Slayer, Fantômas), vocalist Mike Patton (Faith No More), bassist Justin Pearson (the Locust, Head Wound City, Retox), and guitarist Mike Crain (Retox) -will invade Boston this Monday night. Tickets are still available!

Dead Cross is currently on their first tour to support their new album, self titled Dead Cross. The album was released on August 4th, jointly through Patton’s Ipecac Recordings and Pearson’s Three One G label. Patton, who wrote all the lyrics to the album, was recently quoted saying…

‘To me, it is a traditional hardcore record. It is very pointed, direct and visceral. Like, I wasn’t going to play keyboards, add samples or any kind of orchestration. It was like, ‘Yo, just go for it.’ In some ways, it reminded me of stuff that we had collectively all grown up with and loved when we were like teenagers — bands like the Accüsed, Deep Wound or Siege, stuff that was just brutal, uncompromising and right to the point‘.
