Beastie Boys Story – A New Documentary By Spike Jonze – WATCH THE TRAILER NOW + Reddit AMA After Party Q&A info!

Grammy Award Winners, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees – The legendary group Beastie Boys will tell us in their new film documentary how they went from being famous in a 14 block radius to being on tour with Madonna and Rick Rubin. The documentary centers around co-founders Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz looking back on their 40 years of friendship with each other and with co-founder Adam “MCA” Yauch, who sadly passed away from cancer in 2012.

Filmmaker Spike Jonze, a long time friend and collaborator of the group who also most recently collaborated with them on the “Beastie Boys Book“, now brings us the documentary “Beastie Boys Story“.  The film follows the book and it unspools the story in real life.

The film was supposed to have premiered earlier this month in IMAX theaters but had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The new release day is TDB, the documentary will be available NOW on Apple TV+.
