A CLOSER LOOK: Boston’s alternative rock band, blindspot!
Female fronted alternative band, blindspot, recently released their self-titled release, an EP that embarked them on a new national tour to promote the album. They played cities like Nashville, Cleveland, Louisville, Birmingham, Charleston and Philadelphia, on The Sleepless Nights Tour.
Consisting of Alexa Economou on vocals, Chris Cormier on guitar/keyboard, and Austin Ferrante on drums, blindpsot has been influenced by bands like U2, The Killers, and Neon Trees to name a few. They’ve already had the privilege of opening for Steven Tyler, Gin Blossoms, Candlebox, Plain White T’s, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, Scott Weiland, Finger Eleven, Fuel, and Saving Abel. Anthony ‘Danger’ Coy caught their set last month at the Bungalow in Manchester NH., and he described them as ‘A unique alternative sound that stands out in a local scene full of metal‘. blindspot is ready to change the world with their music. Keep an eye and ear out for them!
