On Monday, the music icon revealed that he will be heading to Sin City later this year for a five-show residency. The performances will be held at Dolby Live at Park MGM, starting on October 18 and concluding on October 26.

These shows are in support of Lenny’s forthcoming 12th studio album, Blue Electric Light, which is set to be released this Friday. This album comes six years after his 11th studio album, Raise Vibration, which was released in 2018.

PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM NOW!

During a March appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 59-year-old artist explained that the title track came to him in a dream while he was recording music in the Bahamas.

Well, it was actually the last song I recorded in the Bahamas as I was ending the album,” he told Fallon. “I dreamt it the night before, went to the studio, cut it, and then Craig Ross, my guitarist, said, ‘You know that’s the title of the album.’ And I already had a title.”

He continued, “And I said, ‘Yeah, you’re right, that’s kind of the right title.‘”

In addition to the Las Vegas residency, Kravitz will be supporting the album with a European arena and festival tour, which kicks off in Hamburg, Germany, on June 23.
