ICE NINE KILLS – 11/10/21
Ice Nine Kills arrived to a SOLD OUT crowd in Jacksonville, North Carolina. At The Lime Light (previously The Tarheel) folks were lined up patiently waiting to get inside to experience the cinematic and theatrical show. The opening bands satisfied every drop of anticipation to get the crowd ready for the horrific delight INK was gonna bring.
Opening bands included Currents, Fame on Fire, and Bad Omens. Currents is a band from Connecticut that filled the stage with energy and striking vocals. Fame of Fire lit the stage up with their momentum hyping up the crowd for Bad Omens.
Bad Omens brought in their dark vision causing the crowd to crave for the wicked theatrics of INK.
Bad Omens leaves and the stage darkened as old-school-style horror piano music plays while we all wait for the ostentatious entrance of INK. Headman Spencer Charnas dressed in a suit comes onto the dark stage and the crowd roars as they know what is about to happen. INK does not let its fans down. The band unleashed songs from their recent album The Silver Screen 2 – Welcome to Horrorwood; released October 15th. Songs on the album are influenced by horror movies Resident Evil, Child’s Play, Pet Cemetery, and American Psycho. This is a follow-up album of The Silver Scream released in October of 2018. Both albums are a fantastic mix of horror, metal, and a lil pop. Believe me, you will not be disappointed!
