The 40th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is set to take place tonight. It will be live at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. This year the Rock Hall honors a diverse and influential group of artists. They all have left an indelible mark on the world of music. From Rock and Grunge to Hip-Hop and Pop – this year’s inductees represent the best in class.

This year the Rock Hall inducts: Soundgarden, The White Stripes, Outkast, Bad Company, Cindy Lauper, Joe Cocker and Chubby Checker. The night will be filled with memorable performances and special awards presentations.

Soundgarden will take the stage with various vocalists standing in for the late Chris Cornell. Vocalist included are Brandi Carlile, Taylor Momsen, Jerry Cantrell, and Nancy Wilson.

Bad Company will take the stage with guest singers stepping in for Paul Rodgers, who is prioritizing his health.

The ceremony will also pay tribute to three music legends. The presentation of three special awards. The Musical Influence Award to Salt-N-Pepa. Musical Excellence Award to Thom Bell. And the Award for lifetime achievement to Lenny Waronker.

Other talented performers and presenters gracing the stage include Beck, David Letterman, Doja Cat, Elton John, Flea, Iggy Pop, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Missy Elliot, Olivia Rodrigo, RAYE, Sleepy Brown, Teddy Swims, and Twenty One Pilots.
