The Below Tour made a stop at The Criterion in Oklahoma City on April 10th., bringing an amazing line-up that included headliners Beartooth, with special guests Silverstein, The Devil Wears Prada and Erra.
ERRA took the stage first, and despite only playing six songs, wasted no time getting the crowd moving with songs from their self-titled album, released last month. The Devil Wears Prada was up next and greeted the crowd with “It’s good to be back in Oklahoma, it’s been a while.” Their 30-minute set was full of screaming vocals and gnarly guitar riffs!
Silverstein followed and boy did they kill it! The Canadian emo band was formed in 2000 and has had quite a bit of success of their own over the years. Their 45-minute set featured guest vocals from The Devil Wears Prada’s Mike Hranica, as well as Beartooth’s Caleb Shomo! Their newest release, “Misery Made Me“, is due out on May 6th. Make sure to check that out!
After three bands, the anticipation for Beartooth set to start was high! The lights went out, causing fans to scream in excitement before they began flashing and the five-piece from Columbus took the stage with their song “Below,” also the name of their latest album and tour, and purple confetti cannons! The guys owned the stage and worked the crowd with songs old and new. They ended the night with a head-banging instrumental track, appropriately titled “The Last Riff“, before waving to the crowd as they walked off stage. Make sure to catch this tour if it’s anywhere near you!
