Thundercat has unveiled , “She Knows Too Much” feat. Mac Miller. A tender, genre-blending ballad that dives deep into the complexities of love and self-worth. From his upcoming album Distracted, due out April 3rd.

The track finds Thundercat navigating a bittersweet romance. A woman sees and loves him for who he truly is. She does not love him for what he can offer. Yet, he struggles to believe he’s enough. Over a silky, jazz-infused groove and his signature falsetto, he grapples with vulnerability in the most honest way.

Mac Miller steps in as the voice of reassurance – the ultimate wingman. He offers warmth and grounded wisdom as Thundercat confronts unrequited feelings and emotional imbalance. “When the woman you love doesn’t love you in the same way that you do”- hits hard. Making this collaboration feel deeply personal and achingly real.

The official video, directed by Zack Sekuler (known for his surreal work with Flying Lotus and Anderson .Paak), brings the song’s emotional core to life through dreamlike animation. Thundercat and Mac are stylized avatars drifting through a glowing, otherworldly cityscape. A visual metaphor for memory, connection, and longing. Floating signs, shifting skies, and intimate close-ups. Reflect the song’s introspective mood, as the video transforms into a moving tribute to their friendship.
